Speed Trials:

Next under is a screen shot showing the speed of the BMW relative to that of the other cars. Bear in mind that this car will go a little faster when you have both hands on the wheel (or stick). My best speed with the BMW is around 238, with sustained "bumps" of nitrous. Reaching to the keyboard to trigger the camera made it hard to get a pic of the absolute top speed.

Getting a good shot of the Carrera is much easier since it winds up very quickly indeed. Next under is a shot of the Carrera at top speed.

As stated previously, the Ford GT is very good on the highways. Here's a shot at 242 on a long straight.

You'll note that I stated earlier that ALL of the cars are very fast when fully equipped. Next under is a screen shot of the VW, flying along at 227. For city races I recommend it highly. With front wheet drive and nitrous it's possible to beat any other car on the in-town courses. In my opinion, the VW (along with the Punto and Clio) is more old fashioned fun than any of the faster cars.
